The Team

Jon Lipsey is managing director of ILMedia. He is a former editor of Men’s Fitness, steering the brand to its highest-ever ABC figure as well as its most commercially-successful year. He left in 2013 to establish his own fitness branding consultancy and counts Joe Wicks - aka The Body Coach - as one of his first clients. Jon has been hired as an ambassador for global brands including Head and Shoulders and Visa, is a regular speaker at international fitness conventions, contributes columns to the fitness trade press and has produced films for several leading health, fitness and fashion brands. He has appeared as a fitness expert on the BBC, ITV and in the national press.

Joe Warner is editorial director of ILMedia and one of the UK’s most high-profile health and fitness journalists. He has written more than a dozen health and fitness books - including the Amazon best-selling 12 Week Body Plan - which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. He has acted as a fitness consultant for global brands including Visa, served on judging panels for industry awards, and is an expert contributor on both TV and radio, including regular appearances as ‘Fitness Joe’ on BBC Radio 6Music.

Glen Burrows is photography and moving image director of ILMedia. Glen is a distinguished photographer and moving image director specialising in fashion, sport and portraits. He has worked for high profile editorial brands such as GQ, Wired and Wallpaper as well as for advertising agencies including Publicis and M&C Saatchi in London and Ogilvy in LA on projects for Nike, Reebok and Budweiser. He also has considerable experience of other areas of the industry, having worked client side art buying and founded a full-service photographic production company.
